Kunal Ghosh to move High Court

The suspended Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Kunal Ghosh would move to the Calcutta High Court demanding forensic test of the video of the sting operation in which some leaders of the party were shown taking money and would file case alleging defamation if it is found a distorted one.

Ghosh, who is in judicial custody, was produced before the Bankshall Court in connection with the Saradha Group chit fund scam.

While coming out of the court room he told the newsmen that he is still an MP and as an MP he will move to the Court.

“There is a necessity for proper investigation to find whether the footages are true or a concocted one. Forensic test is needed. I will move to the court demanding forensic tests. In case the tests prove that the video is a distorted one then I will file defamation suit against the agency,” he said.

Though he was trying to continue speaking to the media, the on-duty policemen took him inside the prison van.
