Workshop on Road Safety Audit

Kolkata: A workshop on Road Safety Audit on National Highway 60 and National Highway 117 along with capacity building on road safety issues was held at Nabanna Sabhaghar on Saturday.

The workshop was organised by officials of the state Public Works Department (PWD) and IIT Kharagpur. Experts from IIT, senior officials from the PWD and concerned police officers were present in the day-long workshop where various issues related to road safety were discussed. Different findings of the experts about the national highways and what more can be done to reduce the number of accidents were also discussed.
