Woman found murdered in Rajabagan

Kolkata: A 36-year-old woman was found murdered on Tuesday evening inside her rented house at Rajabagan, where she had been staying for the past two months.
Police said the victim, Ishrat Jahan, used to stay in the rented house with her husband Md Nasiruddin, who has been at large since the incident took place.
Police are yet to ascertain the exact reason behind the murder, but suspect that a family feud could have led to the crime.
She was found with her throat slit. There were also injury marks on her right hand. The injuries on her hand suggests that she had a scuffle with the accused, before the incident took place. Police have initiated a probe and collected samples from the spot. They are also taking steps to find her husband.
