Woman found dead in Netaji Nagar

Kolkata: Mystery shrouds the death of a housewife whose body was found hanging from the ceiling of a room in her flat at Netaji Nagar in South Kolkata late night on Monday.
Police said the victim Aditi Mishra and her husband Ashish Bhaskar Mishra used to stay in the rented flat where they had started staying one
year ago.
On Monday night, the victim's husband was busy in some work in one of the rooms in the apartment while his wife was watching television in the adjacent room.
Late at night, Ashish went to the adjacent room and found his wife's body hanging from the ceiling. Other residents of the residential apartment went to their flat hearing his cries for help. With the others' help, Ashish brought Aditi down and took her to MR Bangur Hospital where she was declared brought dead.
The police initiated a probe in this connection and spoke to the deceased's husband. They wanted to know whether she was in depression. A team of police officers from the Homicide Section of the city police's Detective Department also went to the spot.
The police also spoke to their neighbours and came to know that there was quarrel between the woman and her husband a week ago. But the neighbours had not even imagined that it was going to be the reason behind
Aditi's death.
Aditi had interacted with some of her neighbours on Monday evening as well. The people with whom the victim had an interaction didn't find anything suspicious in her behaviour. She spoke to them normally but did not spend much time in speaking with her neighbours like other days, and instead rushed inside her flat.
The police are also going through the call details of Aditi's cell phone. The police are waiting for the post-mortem report to get confirmation whether her death is suicidal or homicidal in nature.
