Wife jumps from roof after man dies of cardiac arrest

Kolkata: A woman reportedly committed suicide on Tuesday morning after her husband died due to a cardiac arrest in Cooch Behar.

According to a source, on Sunday night Abhijit Guha

suffered a cardiac arrest

and was rushed to a private hospital in Cooch Behar.

On Monday night, Abhijit died due to cardiac problems. Riddhi Guha, Abhijit's wife was informed by her in-laws about his death.

On Tuesday morning, when the family members went to hospital to bring Abhijit's body home, Riddhi all of a sudden jumped from the roof of their three-storied house.

She was rushed to a local hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.

Abhijit and Riddhi got married 12 years ago and they are survived by two children.
