UBI's Language Implementation body's meet held

Kolkata: The 131st meeting of Official Language Implementation Committee of United Bank of India, Head Office,was held on August 29 in the conference room. The meeting was chaired by the Executive Director of the Bank Shri KV Rama Moorthy. Ashok Kumar Pradhan, Executive Director and Md. Abdul Wahid, General Manager (Official Language) were also present at the meeting. The bank's Hindi house Magazine 'United Darpan' (Issue-34) was released by the Chairman. The General Managers, the Deputy General Managers and the representatives of various departments also attended the meeting. The Chairman KV Rama Moorthy said that Hindi and regional languages should be used for promoting the products of the bank among the customers. He also appreciated the use of Hindi and regional languages.
