Two school girls abducted in Jhargram, search on

Kolkata: Two out of three school girls were allegedly abducted in broad daylight in Jhargram on Saturday
morning when they were returning home from private tuition.
The incident, that occurred around 10.30 am on Saturday, sparked tension in the area.
According to the police, three girls from a nearby school were returning home when some unidentified miscreants stopped them mid-way and tried to drag them into an adjacent jungle situated next to the Bypass.
One of the three girls somehow managed to free herself from the clutches of the accused and fled.
After being informed, the police rushed to the spot and started a search operation and cordoned off the jungle and its adjoining areas.
According to preliminary investigation, police
suspect that there were three miscreants and all of them came to the spot with their faces covered.
Police are yet to ascertain if the victims were abducted or they had any relationship with the accused and were known to them.
The cops are also yet to trace the victims.
