Two minors rescued from Metro stations, thanks to RPF

Kolkata: Timely intervention by RPF personnel has recently led to a boy and a girl being rescued in two Metro stations and handed over to their relatives and parents.
On December 20, RPF personnel rescued a seven-year-old boy at Rabindra Sadan station, who was found loitering aimlessly on the mezzanine floor of the station. On interrogating the boy, it was learnt that he had been separated from his relative. The boy's guardian was contacted and he was handed over.
On December 22, at about 11:30 am, information was received at Jatin Das Park Metro station through Central Control, Metro Railway, that an eight-year-old girl had been separated from her mother in a down Metro train at Netaji Bhavan Metro station.
Immediately, the on duty RPF staff stopped the down Metro train and rescued the child at Jatin Das Park station at 11:33 am.MPOST
