To cope with rush, Eastern Rly to run 6 puja special trains

Kolkata: To cope up with the expected rush of passengers during ensuing Puja festival, Eastern Railway will run six puja special trains between Kolkata & Indore via Dankuni. As a result, 3,648 additional berths will be generated for the travelling public.

09312 Kolkata- Indore Puja special (Weekly) will leave Kolkata station at 6 am on September 19, September 26 & October 3 and 09311 Indore-Kolkata Puja special (Weekly) will leave Indore station at 11.35 am on September 17 September 24 & October 1. The special train will have sleeper class and air-conditioned accommodation. It may be mentioned that, besides the above, 106 Puja specials have already been declared by this railway this year for different directions between Sealdah & Ajmer, Sealdah & Anand Vihar, Howrah & Raxaul, Kolkata & Chhapra, Asansol & Patna, Malda Town & Haridwar, Kolkata & Lucknow and Howrah & Jammu Tawi with generation of 77,772 berths & 4,320 seats for the passengers.
