Three-day photography exhibition at Star Theatre

Kolkata: Anu, a miniature photography exhibition at Nati Binodini Art gallery of Star Theatre, has created a sensation among the young budding photographers because of its uniqueness.

The three-day photo exhibition, which was inaugurated on Monday, will continue till Wednesday. It has been organised by Third Eye.

Third Eye has carried out experiments with the sizes and quality of photographs for many years. The size of the largest photograph though printed in archival canvas is 8" x 12". The exhibition showcases the photographs of internationally famous lensman Atanu Pal and 30 others. There are miniature of photographs that has come out in National Geographic, Popular Photography, and has bagged award in national and international shows.

There was a cultural show titled Kotha O Kobita Sangi Photography, conceptualised by Anindita Basu. This apart, there would be an interactive session with the art appreciators and critics. Dhiman Dasgupta gave a lecture on Mrinal Sen.

There were slide shows, seminars and recitation by well known elocutionists.

Third Eye has been giving training to budding creative photographers for many years. The exhibition offers them a platform to come across photographs that have earned international appreciation.
