Teachers' rally to condemn fake letters with terror link charge

Kolkata: The teachers of 113-year-old Kidderpore Academy School, along with its alumni association and parents, conducted a mass convention in connection with fake letters stating that they are associated with terrorist activities at Hemchandra Library on Sunday.

"All the teachers, parents and members of Kidderpore Academy School Alumni Association were present at mass convention and shared their opinion on how deal with issue," said Mohammad Salehin, a senior teacher of the school.

While the 'fake letters' as claimed by the teachers have stated that they are ISI spy, who are divulging secre ts of Army activities, the Kidderpore Academy School Alumni Association has lended support to the teachers of the school. Salehin, who is also a NCC teacher, pointed out that

police officials of Watgunge police station assured us that they have started their investigation. "Since 2013 we

have been disgraced and humiliated by some unidentified persons. The FIR in this connection was lodged on July 19. We met the police officials today (Sunday). They have are co-operating and told us that the probe had already started," he said.

Established in 1906, the Kidderpore Academy School at present has a strength of 400 students.
