SSC to declare Class IX, X teacher recruitment results on Monday

Kolkata: The results for recruitment of teachers in Classes IX and X will be declared by the School Service Commission (SSC) on Monday, March 12. The results can be viewed through SSC's website after 4 p.m on Monday. It may be mentioned that the written examination for the recruitment was conducted by the School Service Commission in 2016 and the oral examination was held in 2017. It has been almost 18 months, after which the results are being published. There is a vacancy of more than 12,000 teachers in Classes IX and X. More than 1.43 lakh candidates had appeared for the examination. However, the dates for counseling has not been finalised as yet, even though SSC wants to finish the recruitment process at a fast pace. State Education minister Partha Chatterjee had said a few days ago that SSC results will be declared by March.
