Shriram Properties unveils master plan for Shriram Grand City

KOLKATA: Shriram Properties, the property development arm of the Rs 90,000 crore financial giant Shriram Group, on Thursday announced its plans for the upcoming township project Shriram Grand City (SCG) in Kolkata.
Amongst its grand plans for Kolkata's Sister City, Shriram Group also confirmed their first partnership for SGC announcing a strategic tie –up with Sri Sri Academy to establish their second campus in Kolkata at SGC.
Spanning across 314 acres, Shriram Grand City is a mega-city designed along the lines of international towns that bring an upscale urban lifestyle in a model city for the first time to Kolkata. SGC offers 33 million sq. ft. of residential, commercial and entertainment avenues, along with healthcare, retail and educational facilities.
The township covers well-planned social infrastructure such as a 100 bed multi-specialty hospital providing facilities and services round the clock spread across 1 million sq ft area and fine education for children at par with international standards housing, world class schools and universities covering 7 acres, sports academy, a grand 28 km water front and dedicated zones for residential, commercial and recreational areas, as well abundant shopping avenues and neighbourhood bazaar to take care of one's daily needs along with a sprawling shopping mall housing top-brands.
