Shahrukh meets CM at Nabanna

Kolkata: Ahead of the their second IPL match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shahrukh Khan met Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at state secretariat Nabanna on Tuesday.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed her confidence that Shahrukh's team will win this year, while SRK sported the victory sign while leaving Nabanna in the evening. SRK said "We will all win this year" and hugged Banerjee, who exulted saying "Brother and sister always winners."

KKR, who had won their first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at their home ground Eden Gardens, is set to play their second match, again at home, against Kings XI Punjab on Wednesday.

KKR has won the IPL twice and Banerjee was a part of the celebrations during both.

Khan has been attending the Kolkata International Film Festival on more than one occasion in the last few years and is also the brand ambassador of Bengal.
