They are Sankar Chakraborty and Dilip Hazra. They were involved in the Saradha probe. Both of them were in Bidhannagar police commissionerate when the Saradha scam came to light. Chakraborty was in the post of inspector of the Detective Department of the Bidhannagar police commissionerate during that time. He has retired from the service as a Deputy Superintendent of Police in 2017. Meanwhile, Dilip Hazra is still serving in Bengal Police. It may be mentioned that Bidhannagar police initially carried out probe into the multi-crore Sharadha scam and the case was later handed over to the CBI.
It may be mentioned that this is for the first time the Central investigating agency has summoned police officers in this connection.
