S-E Railway to run 8 pairs of special trains
Kolkata: With a view to clear extra rush of passengers during the ensuing festive season, South-Eastern Railway has decided to run eight pairs of AC Superfast Special trains between Santragachi-Pune-Santragachi from October 7 to November 27 and four pairs of Superfast Special trains between Santragachi-Jabalpur-Santragachi from October 4-26. 02822 Santragachi-Pune AC Superfast Special leaving Santragachi at 6.30 pm every Saturday will reach Pune at 2.45 pm on Monday. In the return direction, 02821 Pune-Santragachi AC Superfast Special leaving Pune at 10.30 am every Monday will arrive in Santragachi at 6.15 pm, the next day. The Special trains consisting three AC 2-Tier and eight AC-3 Tier coaches will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chakradharpur, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Bilaspur, Raipur, Durg, Nagpur, Bhusawal, Kalyan and Panvel stations enroute. 02192 Santragachi-Jabalpur Superfast Special leaving Santragachi at 8.40 pm every Thursday will reach Jabalpur at 3.50 pm, the next day. In the return direction, 02191 Jabalpur-Santragachi Superfast Special leaving Jabalpur at 8.10 pm every Wednesday will arrive Santragachi at 4 pm, the next day. The Special trains will consist one composite coach, one AC 3-Tier, ten sleeper class and four general second class coaches.
