Rlys to resume MEMU services from Dec 14

Kolkata: South Eastern Railway (SER) is all set to restore Mainline Electric Multiple Unit (MEMU)—a commuter rail system operated for semi-urban and rural areas—and passenger train services from Monday.

"After considering the demand of the passengers, SER has decided to restore the train services with the resumption of 2 pairs of MEMUs between Adra-Asansol-Adra and Midnapur-Adra-Midnapore and one pair of passenger train between Bokaro and Ranchi," said an official.
