The police have also seized some medical documents in connection with Raghib's treatment in Dubai which was submitted in court. Raghib had fled away to Dubai and was picked up by the police on Wednesday afternoon in front of a Beniapukur nursing home, where he had got himself admitted, allegedly to evade arrest, after returning to the city on Monday.
Raghib's friend, who was accompanying him during the accident, is the only witness in the case.
The sleuths will appeal to the court on Monday or Tuesday to record his statement in front of the magistrate, as per the provisions under section 160 CrPC.
Sources informed that as Raghib's friend has agreed to be a witness, he has not been booked by the investigators.
