Passport Seva Kendra in Siliguri set for inauguration
Darjeeling: After a prolonged wait, finally the long standing demand of the people of North Bengal is set to see the light of day with the Passport Seva Laghu Kendra (PSLK) being all set for inauguration in Siliguri on February 17. "It has been a long standing demand of the people of this region. In the past also the inauguration has been put on hold. This time we hope the Passport Seva Kendra becomes operational soon. We have been informed that the inauguration will take place on February 17," stated Goutam Deb, Tourism Minister, Government of West Bengal. Sources state that SS Ahluwalia, Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, will be inaugurating the PSLK jointly with Deb in the presence of local MLAs.
