According to sources, on Saturday morning, Upa Pradhan of Jumki panchayat in Egra Uday Swar received a letter.

In the letter it was mentioned that the Maoists are going to take revenge of their former leader Kishenji's death. The unknown Maoist claimed himself as the member of the group in charge of East and West Midnapore.

In the letter it was written: "Sabdhan, rajneeti theke dure sorun. Ta na hole agami koyek mashe prithibi theke soriye debo. Sources informed that upon receiving the complaint sleuths started a probe.

Police are trying to locate the area from where the letter was posted. As there was no Maoists' activity during the past few years, it is suspected that someone or persons might have sent the letter as a

prank.

But cops have already taken the case seriously and trying to find the accused. Till Monday night, no one was arrested in this connection.
