One held for duping unemployed youth by assuring them jobs

Bidhannagar City Police arrested a person on charges of cheating several unemployed youth after assuring them jobs. The accused allegedly took huge amounts of money from the youth promising them that he will provide them permanent jobs in nationalised banks, gun and shell factories and Department of Post (DOP).

The investigators arrested the accused, identified as Rajib Biswas, on the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim with Baguiati police station.

"Biswas had started a company in Baguiati few years ago named Top Care Solution. His company was working as placement consultancy. Initially, there was no complaint against Biswas' company and many unemployed youth got job from that consultancy," a local source said. According to the some local residents, the problems had surfaced last year as several youth demonstrated in front of the consultancy office demanding their money back. "Biswas assured several unemployed youth of providing jobs in nationalised banks, gun and shell factory and Department of Post (DOP) and took the money. But he did not fulfill his promise and refused to return the money to the victims," said a source. However, investigators suspect that Biswas was connected to those involved in a fake job racket.
