Two employees of the godown were injured in the incident and they were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Local people spotted smoke billowing out of the go-down where various garments were being stocked.

The area was soon covered in black smoke and people started running from one place to another.

People working at various offices located in the building started panicking and left the building. The school was in session when the fire broke out at around 10.45 am on Wednesday.
