Murli Dhar to be new JCP (Crime) of Kolkata Police

Kolkata: In a minor IPS reshuffle, the West Bengal government on Wednesday appointed Murli Dhar as the new Joint Commissioner (Crime) of Kolkata Police, a notification said.
Dhar who was the Joint Commissioner (Traffic) of Kolkata Police would replace Praveen Kumar as the new JCP (Crime), it said.
Kumar would be the new Joint Commissioner (Armed Police) of Kolkata Police.
Akhilesh Kumar Chaturvedi, who was holding the post of Joint Commissioner (Armed Police) of Kolkata Police would become the new Joint Commissioner (Traffic) of Kolkata Police, the notification added.
