Minor IPS rejig in state

In a minor reshuffle in the IPS cadre of Bengal, Sudeep Sarkar has been made the deputy commissioner (Headquarters) of the Siliguri Police Commissionerate. He was posted as the deputy commissioner of the Port Division of Kolkata Police.
The new deputy commissioner of the Port Division is Waquar Raza, who was the Special Superintendent (SS) of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
Indra Chakraborty, who was replaced by Sarkar as deputy commissioner (Headquarters) of Siliguri Police Commissionerate, has been posted as SS in CID.
