Man found dead at tannery

Kolkata: A man was found dead at a tannery in Calcutta Leather Complex on Sunday night. Police recovered the body and sent it for autopsy. It is

suspected that the man was murdered.

According to police, on Sunday, around 10 pm, Kolkata Leather Complex police

station was informed that a man was seen lying with injuries on the first floor of a tannery located at the plot Number 514, zone 7 of Calcutta Leather Complex.

Police found that the person had multiple injuries on his right jaw and other parts of the body.

He was declared brought dead at the hospital. The deceased was identified as Siraj Mollah of Basanti in South 24-Parganas. It is suspected that Molla was killed on Sunday morning.
