Man awarded 10 years' imprisonment for assaulting minor

Kolkata: The Sealdah Court awarded ten years of imprisonment to one Santosh Thakur on charges of sexual assault on a minor hailing
from Cossipore area in north Kolkata.
The accused was also directed to pay Rs 3 lakh as compensation
to the victim.
Santosh, a resident of Bihar, who was living at her relative's house in Kolkata had fled with the 14-year-old girl who was his neighbour on September 12, 2017.
He allegedly raped him inside a train bound for Danapur.
