Malda boy goes missing in Bengaluru

A youth from Malda went missing from Bengaluru where he had gone to study pharmacology. Sohail Abul Hoque aged around 19 and a resident of Moshaldaha village in Malda had gone to Bengaluru last year. The family members of the youth said that he stayed at East West Boys' Hostel. The family members also said that they were unable to contact him from Monday afternoon. At around 12 am on Monday they spoke to him on telephone and after that they could not get him on phone. They failed to establish any contact with the victim. His mobile phone remain switched off all the time. The family members finally lodged a complaint at Harishchandrapur police station in this regard. They also called up their relatives to know if the victim had gone to their houses.

The family members told the police that the youth was absolutely normal in his talk when he had a spoken with his family members. Some of the family members may visit Bengaluru in this connection soon. The district police are, meanwhile, establishing contacts with Bengaluru police in this connection.
