Kolkata Metro GM meets MP

Kolkata: Ajay Vijayvargiya, General Manager, Metro Railway, Kolkata held a meeting with Dinesh Trivedi, MP (Lok Sabha) and former Railway minister at Metro Rail Bhavan on Wednesday. The main objective of the meeting was to ensure that Railway related local issues and problems are mutually discussed and resolved in a timely manner. Discussions were held on various issues in connection with the clearing of impediments of the various ongoing Metro projects so that they are completed on time. Trivedi was also keen to know the progress of work with special reference to the Baranagar-Barackpore Metro project and discussed about how the stumbling blocks can be cleared. The General Manager requested the MP to extend his cooperation so that the projects can be completed on time. Senior officers of Metro Railway were also present in the meeting.
