KMC councillor's wife dead

Kolkata: Madhumita Ghosh, wife of Kolkata Municipal Corporation councillor Bapi Ghosh, who suffered serious injuries in a fatal road accident died in a city hospital on Saturday.
She was returning home from Kolaghat on April 22 at around 3.30 am in a car when the vehicle rammed into a truck from behind on National Highway 6 near Uluberia. Two others were declared brought dead on the same day after being taken to the hospital. Two others were also injured. Among the deceased, there were Pritam Saha and his son Suvam. Pritam was the son-in-law of Ghosh. He was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. Kolkata Mayor Sovan Chatterjee while attending a programme at Rabindra Sadan expressed his condolences.
