Italy inks MoU with Bengal on leather tech

Kolkata: The BGBS 2018 kicked off on Tuesday with the participation of nine countries. The visiting Italian delegation of almost thirty is led by ArtValley, an organisation that has brought in business houses to the BGBS since 2017.

In a significant step forward, an MoU was signed on the eve of BGBS 2018, between Italian Leather Research Institute and CLC TA Tanner's Association, Kolkata. The two principal persons from the Italian side were Paolo Gurisatti, President of SSIP district and Golin Mauro, CEO, Spraytech. This has the support of the West Bengal government and is involved in exchange and support in providing technical competence to the Bengal tanning companies, stated professor Alberto Cavicchiolo of ArtValley.
