IPS cadre sees minor reshuffle

Kolkata: In a minor reshuffle in the IPS cadre, Deputy Commissioner of Zone I of Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate has been changed.
S Selvamurugan, an IPS officer of 2010 batch, has become the new Deputy Commissioner of Zone I of Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate. He was earlier posted as Special Superintendent in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
Atul V, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Serampore) of Chandannagar Police Commissionerate, has been made the new Additional Superintendent of Police of Kalimpong, replacing Amlan Ghosh. Ghosh has become the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Serampore) of Chandannagar Police Commissionerate.
Meanwhile, IAS officer of 1993 batch Kanwaljeet Singh Cheema, who was on compulsory waiting, has been made the member secretary of the Land Use Board. In another reshuffle, Godala Kiran Kumar has become the Managing Director of South Bengal State Transport Corporation.
