Indigo starts daily flight to Shilong from Kolkata

Kolkata: Giving a boost to the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS), one more flight under the RCS UDAN ( Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik) scheme has started operation from Kolkata Airport.
On July 20, Indigo started their non stop daily flight to Shilong from Kolkata. It was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad Sangma.
With 61 passengers on board, 6E 7986 made its maiden journey to Shilong at 3pm.
With 8 routes added recently, the total number of routes that become operational under UDAN scheme has gone up to 194.
