'His claims are false', says Partha on Mukul's allegations

Kolkata: The paper which BJP leader Mukul Roy had shown in the meeting was actually "a blank paper" and the statements made by him at the rally are "false" but he deliberately did it to create confusion among people, Trinamool Congress secretary general Partha Chatterjee said on Friday.
Within an hour after Roy made allegations against Trinamool, Chatterjee held a press conference and replied them.
He said that the party leaders and workers are united and they will not quit the party as claimed by some BJP leaders. "The people of Bengal are closely watching everything and thy will throw the traitor in a waste bin. Many leaders left Trinamool in the past but none were able to create any impact." Chatterjee said: "For the past two years he (Roy) had tried to create problem for the party and till recently he had said many things in favour of the party and now to safeguard his own interest he has taken a summersault."
Mukul Roy said Trinamool Congress is now ruling the state in the way which was followed by CPI(M) in 2006. "There is no development and the whole state is busy with festivals. People are dying because of dengue and the state is busy celebrating international film festival."
Dilip Ghosh, state BJP president said that the party will field workers in all the 77, 481 booths in the state and the party will do well in the panchayat
election scheduled to be held in 2018. He urged Trinamool leaders and workers to join BJP.
