Goons break passbook printing machine instead of ATM

Kolkata: Criminals failed to loot an SBI ATM kiosk at Madurdaha in Anandapur a few weeks ago as they could not identify the ATM machine.

On Monday, manager of SBI Madurdaha branch Subrata Das Gupta lodged a complaint in this regard at the Anandapur police station.

The incident came into light when some people noticed that the passbook printing machine inside the kiosk was broken and they informed the SBI Madurdaha branch about it.

A few criminals were seen breaking the passbook printing machine in the CCTV footage. When they could not find any money, they left.

Cops suspect that the criminals had planned to rob the ATM machine but they got confused with passbook printing machine.The ATM kiosk had no security guards therefore miscreants could make such an attempt.
