Free parking for spectators near stadium

Kolkata: In a bid to ensure better traffic management, it has been decided to provide free car parking space to football lovers who will be going to Swami Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan to watch the matches of FIFA Under-17 Football World Cup.
The free car parking space will be provided near the stadium in Bidhannagar.
There will be 10 matches of the tournament in the city including the final. The tournament is going to start from Friday with a match between New Caledonia and Chile in Delhi. The first match in Kolkata is on Sunday between Chile and England.
The ten matches in the city will be held on six days. There will be two matches each day on October 8, 11, 14. These matches will be Group stage matches. On October 17 and October 22 there will be one match each day i.e. a Round of 16 tie and a Quarter-final tie. On the day of the Final on October 28, the match for the third position will start from 5 pm and the final will start at 8 pm.
On all the six days, free car parking space will be available. The facility will be available from 12 noon to 11.30 pm on October 8, 11 and 14 while it will be available from 3 pm to 11.30 pm on October 17, 22 and 28.
There will be a free car parking space from near SAI complex upto Khalpar along 16 number tank. The petrol pump near AMRI to KB KC Island, Amul Island to 14 Number Tank, from 16 number tank to Tripura Bhawan Island, 13 number tank to Bhumi Bihar residential Complex crossing, Unnayan Bhawan to Bhikharam Island, GD Park, HB Park, IB Park and the filed besides 13 number tank of Salt Lake Sector III and left flank of Khalpar Road extending from Jalabayu Bihar to New
Bridge.
However, there should not be parkings at cut outs of medians, crossings and gates of buildings.
At the same time, the Bidhannagar Police has identified certain areas as "No Parking" zone as well. No vehicles will be allowed to park on any flanks of the entire broadway from Beliaghata crossing to Netaji Island, from Amul Island to Kadapara crossing, Salt Lake gate number one to 13 number Island to Anindita Island, from GD Island to PNB Island and the road connecting EZCC to 13 number island.
Moreover, vehicles will not be allowed to ply from Amul Island to Kadapara and there will be one way on Khalpar Road from Jalabayu Bihar towards New Bridge.
