Four bodies found under mysterious circumstances

Kolkata: Four unnatural deaths were reported from various parts of the city since Tuesday evening.
Three of the deceased were identified while a body that was recovered adjacent to the railway tracks of Tollygunge railway station has not yet been identified.
The first death was reported from Park Lane under Garfa police station area in the south-east division of the city.
24-year-old Chiranjit Gupta was found lying in an unconscious state inside his bedroom on Tuesday evening.
He was sent to MR Bangur hospital where he was declared brought dead. Investigations revealed that the youth was vigorously addicted to intoxicants. Though no external injury marks were found, the police on the basis of a complaint by the family members have started a case of murder.
Officials from the homicide wing of Kolkata Police's detective department and police dogs were pressed into service.
The second case was reported from Nawab Sirajul Islam Lane under Park Street police station on Wednesday night. 58-year-old Bhimsen Hazarath's body was found hanging from the ceiling using a nylon rope inside his room.
"It seems to be a case of suicide. There is no external injury marks on the body," an officer of Park Street police station said.
The third case was from Anandapur police station area near EM Bypass on the wee hours of Wednesday.
Debabrata Gayen 53, was found lying in an unconscious state inside his shanty at Khalpar area. "The death may be due to some ailment," a police officer said.
On Wednesday morning, the decomposed body of an unknown male was recovered adjacent to the boundary wall of Tollygunge railway station.
The police recovered a pair of plastic slippers from the spot.
The Charu Market police station has started a probe and are awaiting the post-mortem report to ascertain the cause of death.
