Fozila went forward to see the scoreboard while the practice session was going on when suddenly the arrow shot by Sheikh accidentally struck her neck. As the girl started writhing in pain, she was rushed to a health centre. The doctors managed to bring out the arrow but said that any delay in bringing the girl to the health centre would have made situation worse. Fozila is out of danger but is still admitted in the hospital. As per rules, when archery practice is held, everyone has to shoot arrows at the same time. Following this, everybody goes near the shooting mark to collect the arrows or look at the score. However, this was not followed on Monday. The authorities have started a probe to assess whether there was negligence on any person's behalf at the SAI complex.
