Eight Puja special trains to Puri

Kolkata: To cope with the expected rush of passengers during the ensuing Puja festival, eight Puja Special trains will be run between Kolkata and Puri. As a result, 7,680 additional berths will be generated for the travelling public.

08408 Kolkata–Puri Puja special will leave Kolkata station at 6.35 pm on September 14, September 21, September 28, and October 5 and 08407 Puri–Kolkata Puja special will leave Puri at 9.25 pm on September 13, September 20, September 27, and October 4. The train will have general second class, sleeper class and air-conditioned accommodation.

It may be mentioned that besides above, 130 Puja specials have already been declared by Railways this year for different directions.
