ED summons Mayor's wife

Kolkata: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned Ratna Chatterjee, wife of Mayor Sovan Chatterjee, in connection with the probe of Narada sting operation. It is learnt that she has been urged to turn up to the ED's office in Salt Lake on September 4. It was also learnt that the investigating officers have urged her to turn up to their office just to verify the statement given by different people in this connection. It may be mentioned that the Mayor was also summoned to turn up to the office of the ED in similar connection. The ED had also issued summons to three Cabinet ministers in Bengal, asking them to appear for questioning within the space of a week recently in the ongoing investigation.
