Eastern Rly to run more Puja special trains

Kolkata: To cope with the expected rush of passengers during ensuing Puja, Eastern Railway will run 12 Puja Special trains between Kolkata and Haridwar and 6 Puja Special trains between Sealdah and Puri. As a result, 13,788 additional berths will be generated for the travelling public. 03169 Kolkata – Haridwar weekly Puja Special via Dankuni will leave Kolkata station at 10.10 pm on September 24, October 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 and 03170 Haridwar–Kolkata weekly Puja Special via Dankuni will leave Haridwar at 4 am on September 26, October 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. The train will have general second class, sleeper class and air-conditioned accommodation.
03101 Sealdah – Puri weekly Puja Special will leave Sealdah station at 12.15 pm and 03102 Puri –Sealdah weekly Puja Special will leave Puri at 11.45 pm on October 1, 8 and 15. The train will have sleeper class and air-conditioned accommodation.
It may be mentioned that besides the above, 112 Puja specials have already been declared by this Railway this year for different directions between Sealdah & Ajmer, Sealdah & Anand Vihar, Howrah & Raxaul, Kolkata & Chhapra, Asansol & Patna, Malda Town & Haridwar, Kolkata & Lucknow, Howrah & Jammu Tawi and Kolkata & Indore.
