Date of relaxation of emergency procurement extended till July 31

Kolkata: The state government has extended the date of relaxations given for emergency procurement for the fight against Covid till July 31.

The necessity of extending the date was felt considering the present Covid situation.

The relaxation allows emergent purchases within a very short period of time. The first order in this regard was issued on April 1 in 2020 during the first wave.
