CM visits Madhyamik centres in South Kolkata

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday talked to the guardians of Madhyamik examinees who were waiting outside two schools in South Kolkata. She wished the candidates the very best for their examinations.

The Chief Minister reached Beltala Girls' High School late in the afternoon and talked to the parents who were waiting for their children.
She did not want to go inside as that might have distracted the examinees and told the police personnel as well as the guardians that she had come to review the arrangement.

She also spoke to the school authority about the examination arrangement.

From Beltala Girls' High School, she went to United Missionary Girls High School on SP Mukherjee Road where she again

talked to the parents and guardians who were waiting outside the school.

Banerjee's gesture touched the hearts of the parents, some of whom came to touch her feet.

Saturday was the History examination and the students expressed satisfaction over the question paper.

Board officials said the students are happy because of the change in the pattern of question papers and had also liked multiple choice questions.
