CBI goes to Madan Mitra's Dakshineswar residence

Kolkata: Officers of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) went to the residence of the former Transport minister Madan Mitra at Dakshineswar on Thursday morning in connection with the Narada sting operation.
A four member team of CBI went to the residence and took video photographs of some portions of the interior of the apartment.
Sources said that the investigating officers went to reconstruct the incident.
It may be recalled that on September 13, Mitra went to the office of CBI in similar connection. He was served notice by the CBI and he went to their office a day after he had received the notice.
The investigating officers had earlier recorded the statement of Mitra in this connection.
Based on their investigation, the CBI officers decided to go to his Dakshineswar residence.
It may be mentioned that Mitra has assured all help to the investigating officers to probe into the incident.
