Darjeeling: A technical snag resulted in a vehicle being stranded inside the Tiger Safari of the Bengal Safari Park in Siliguri.
The incident occurred on Wednesday. According to Dharamdeo Rai, director of the park, around 22 visitors were in the bus. They had visited the Tiger Safari and on the way back, the vehicle broke down near the exit.
"There were two tigers outside their enclosures. The animal keepers first got the two tigers back into their enclosures. Once they were in, a vehicle was sent in which towed the bus back. The whole process took around 25 minutes," stated Deo.
