Bring about a positive change in attitude: Tamang

Darjeeling: The chairman of the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) Board of Administrators, Binay Tamang has urged the people of Darjeeling hills to bring about a positive change in their attitude to ensure development in the area.
"Until and unless we bring a positive change in our attitudes all forms of physical and territorial progress will remain futile," Tamang said in a press release on Monday.
He said it is the responsibility of each individual to protect his home and take care of it.
"If we do not take this responsibility upon ourselves then we can never do anything worthwhile for our Queen of Hills," he said. He said it was his vision and commitment to ensure development in the hills under the Mission 2020 Darjeeling Hill.
