BNCCI delegation to travel to Spain to showcase Kanyashree

Kolkata: A delegation of Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BNCCI) travelling to Spain will showcase the state government's premier project Kanyashree.
Also, the delegation will showcase Shishualay and how such social schemes have benefited millions of common people. The 11-member delegation will attend a programme in Spain from October 21 to 27. The delegation will conduct a road show on the upcoming Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) scheduled to be held in January, 2018 to showcase the business potential and various schemes taken up by the state government to ease business.
A delegation comprising Bani Roy Chowdhury, president of BNCCI, Satyam Roychowdhury, its vice-president and Ritwik Das met Shashi Panja, Minister of State, department of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare and discussed the issues.
The delegation will meet the La Liga officials and apprise them of the success story of the state government in organising the Under-17 World Cup including the final at Swami Vivekananda Yuva Bharti Krirangan along with the huge potential of sports marketing in Bengal and North-Eastern states. The delegation will also meet Real Madrid officials and will showcase the Kolkata Goals, a social welfare project of British Council along with Kolkata Police, AIFF, Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) and Premier League Clubs. BNCCI delegation will discuss the matter with Real Madrid officials requesting them to join as partners as the project has helped underprivileged children enormously.
