BJP will not come to power in 2019, reiterates CM

Kolkata: Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee on Friday reiterated that BJP is not going to come to power in 2019.
She was addressing party leaders in the core committee meeting held at her residence this afternoon.
Referring to the CBI investigation in connection with Narada sting operation in which some of her party leaders featured she said: "They are calling our party leaders. They have called Sovan Chatterjee, Subrata Mukherjee and Saugata Roy just to harass them. But rest assured they will not get anything," she said adding: "BJP will lose in the 2019 election." It may be recalled that earlier Mamata Banerjee had said that BJP was using the Central agencies to scare the Opposition parties that had
raised their voices against BJP. "We are not scared of anyone," she said. Meanwhile, Mayor Sovan Chatterjee went to the CBI office on Friday. While leaving the CBI office on Thursday afternoon, Chatterjee, however, had said he does not remember any incident of taking money. "A lot of people come to meet us for different reasons. I do not remember the incident clearly," he said. The CBI has also urged Mayor's wife Ratna Chatterjee to appear before it on October 4 with certain bank details. She had been to London for her treatment and CBI has urged her to provide related documents.
