Allahabad Bank observes Vigilance Awareness Week

Kolkata: Allahabad Bank, one of the leading nationalised banks of the country is observing Vigilance Awareness Week from Monday to November 4 with the theme "My Vision — Corruption Free India."
The bank is organising debate, slogan writing, poster making, drawing competition at various schools and colleges across the country for increasing vigilance awareness among the youth. Rural and semi-urban branches of bank are organising ""Awareness Gram Sabhas" for dissemination of awareness in Gram Panchayats to sensitise citizens on the ill-effects of corruption. Apart from this, all the employees are taking "Integrity e-pledge". For spreading awareness, SMS/emails were sent to all the customers of the bank. A number of activities are also being undertaken to upgrade the level of awareness amongst employees including a "Walkathon" on November 2 in Kolkata.
As a part of the programme, pledge taking ceremony was held on Monday at Head Office which was administered by.Usha Ananthasubramanian, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank.
