AI organises cyclathon to spread awareness against corruption

Kolkata: Air India on Thursday organised a cycle rally - cyclothon – at Kolkata as part of its celebration of the Vigilance Awareness Week. Around 60 cyclists participated in the meet, covering a distance of 15 kms, starting from Eco Park Gate No. 3 and ending at the same location via the Kolata NSCBI Airport. The event was organised in collaboration with the Cycle Network Grow (CNG). The cyclothon was flagged off at 6.15 am by renowned cricketer Jhulan Goswami, who is also an officer with Air India, Kolkata. Other senior executives of Air India were also present on the occasion. Professional cyclists and cycling enthusiasts from participated in the event, while onlookers cheered them along the route and lauded the noble initiative. All riders wore the tag line "My vision Corruption Free India" on their jerseys. On completion of the cyclothon, certificates and a memento were handed over to all the participants.
