AAI clears air on fraudulent vacancies

Kolkata: Airports Authority of India (AAI) in Kolkata alleged that some unknown miscreants are offering false employment opportunities under AAI, using the logo of the organisation.

According to sources, several job seekers recently approached AAI in Kolkata related to job openings, which brought the fraud to light. It was then observed that certain unidentified websites were showing vacancies under AAI.

AAI also came to know that some private agencies were conducting telephonic interviews and taking money as caution money. On Wednesday, AAI issued a press release where they clearly stated that recruitment in AAI is carried out through written test, personal interview, medical fitness and GATE score. It also informed that the organisation did not authorise any website or agency to show vacancies or accept any application.
